BH COSMETICS 28 NEUTRAL PALETTE

99% of the time I am wearing a neutral look. So I wanted a great pallet with many different colors and finishes to give me some variety. I checked out BH Cosmetics and picked up their 28 neutral palette for $19.95. Here it is:

As you can see, it's got some of the basic colors you want to have and a few ones you might not know you'd love. My favorite are definitely starting at the black on the bottom row, go one up and two over. You can see this one swatched in the picture below(left row, second down). It is actually almost creamy feeling and super pigmented!! Also, top right row, three over, one down, that light pink (first row, first color) is the prettiest pink highlight! Love it. You absolutely have to use a primer with these or they don't show up so well. Of course with that primer you won't get any creasing either. My favorite is Urban Decay's Eye Priming Potion, but use whatever works for you.

Now, would I purchase this again when I've used it all up, and I don't see that happening for a long time....no. This palette is handy and nice, but I've found other products, maybe not as inexpensive, that I just love so much more. **Think back to my Cover Girl single shadow review!** I can see how this would be handy for a makeup artist, having so many neutrals at your fingertips.

This looks a lot of like the Coastal Scents palette. I think I'm such a neutral lover that I might really enjoy this. Although since you say that the CGs are better... I don't know. But I can't wait til you do your reviews on Coastal Scent stuff. I am definitely eyeing some of their products - especially their palettes.

This is a good one if you love neutrals. It's nice that they are all in one palette, as the CG ones are all singles! So that's the one things I'd say the BH Cosmetics one has over those. Other than that, I really do enjoy the pigmentation and texture of the CG singles.

This is the first palette I bought and I really love it! I was choosing between this and the 88 palette but I'm glad I chose this one because I love my neutrals. I admit that some of the shades are chalky and lack pigmentation but there are hidden gems in this palette! Especially the darker, shimmery shades which I love!
