TOO FACED TANNING BED IN A TUBE

"Throw away those tanning goggles and say "good-bye" to sun-damaged skin with Too Faced's Tanning Bed in a Tube! A wonder lotion that adds an instant bronze glow with a gradual sunless tanner to give you that "just got back from the Caribbean" sex appeal. Use daily to build your sun-less tan and keep your body in bikini shape all year long!"

Tips & Tricks

  • Be sure and apply an SPF product after Tanning Bed in a Tube if you plan to go in the sun so you tan safely.

  • Going swimming? Apply Tanning Bed in a Tube after water activities for best results. Our luscious lotion isn't water resistant.

  • Apply after a day in the sun evens out blotchiness and bronzes up body parts your string bikini barely covers!

  • Think spa day exfoliate prior to use and shave those sexy gams too.

  • Begin application on lower legs and work your way up with your arms last for the most even tan.
Benefits:
Sugar-Based Formula - provides the even tan you desire without streaking and blotchiness.

Bronze-Tinted Lotion and Sunless Tanner - instant gratification and long term bronzed tan.
Fast Drying - clothes stay clean; won't streak.
Grape Seed Extract & Safflower Oil - antioxidant, skin condition and moisturizer.
Fermiskin - naturally stimulates collagen and elastin production, skin tone and firmness.
Deliciously Scented - a tropical blend of flavors sure to entice every cabana boy around.

Ok, so I am generally a pretty fair skined lady! I love to get my tan on, but don't want to damage my skin! I'm always looking for a good self-tanner. If you guys keep up with my blog, you'll know that recently I went into Sephora and had a terrible experience with the customer service there. I wrote a letter and the district manager sent me a $50 gift card so I could give the store another chance. I was very pleased with my second visit and happily walked out with that cute little black and white bag in my hands!

The top one is for the body and the bottom one is for the face.

All smeared out! The face one is lighter and doesn't have as much gold in it.

I smelled this in the store and rubbed a bit on my arm. It does smell delicious and it gives a really nice bronze color right away. I was hoping this would be my HG for self tanners!! I stopped at the grocery store to pick up more scrub to exfoliate my skin. I scrubbed down really good and asked my hubby to help with the Tanning Bed in a tube. We read the directions and got started. It took him a long time, but he was trying very hard to make sure it came out even--otherwise, he knows I'd kick his butt!!!

I was pleased with the outcome, as was my hubby, to see myself a nice bronzey color already!! The next day I wore a cute shirt that shows off my newly tanned arms and went off to work. I was going to not say anything, to see how long it took for someone to say something, but I couldn't! I asked a girl I worked with how did it look! **I'm not super patient** =) She said it looked pretty natural.

I did notice, however, that my skin had a ton of gold shimmer to it out in the sun. Some people my love this, but I really didn't like it at all. It looked like I spread glitter all over my body!! It was a bit embarrassing! Also, I noticed around mid-day that I was starting to "smell" like tanning lotion. The lovely coconut scent had completely disappeared and it was getting ugly!! Ahhh!! I was at work and couldn't really do anything about it but avoid people as much as possible!

I have to give major props to the the Tanning Bed in a Tube FACE though. It was really natural looking and didn't have all the glitter the body tanner did. I can't stay if the face lotion had the same disgusting scent after hours of wear like the body did though. I would keep the one for the face, but I see no point in having a tan face and pale body!

I tried taking before and after pictures, but the lighting wasn't good. Sorry! I know pictures help, but you honestly couldn't see any difference from pictures.

When I got home, I got back into the shower and scrubbed my skin a little harder than when I normally exfoliate. To my surprise, the water was all brown and every bit of tan I had was gone! I know this is a gradual tanner with instant bronzer, but in 24 hours, there was absolutely no change in my skin. It was all product sitting on top of my skin. If there wasn't so much shimmer in this and didn't stink after a while, I'd keep trying it out to give you guys a better review. But honestly, it's just not worth it to me. This is going back to Sephora and I'll pick something out that I know I'll like!

Have you guys found your HG self-tanner?

Oh that sounds gross :( I think I would have tried to apply it at night and then wash off the shimmer (and gross smell) in the morning? But I suppose that defeats the purpose a bit, haha

@Silhouette--I did actually put it on at night! I didn't, however, shower in the morning. But when I did that night--all my "tan" was gone. It still smelled nice when I woke up, but was horrid mid day when I was at work---it was pretty embarsassing!

@MissKC--thank you so much for reading! I will check yours out too and follow--if I haven't already! =)
