I have always loved Halloween and dressing up is the best part! Forget the candy! *lol* Halloween is just around the corner and if you wait too long, all the best costumes will be sold out! The site I've been eyeballing most lately is CostumeSuperCenter. They have a wide selection and really affordable prices. They have costumes for kids, men, women, and even fantastic looking plus size for men & women!
The one I got is the Olympic Goddess Costume and I love it! It's not overly sexy (I'll be trick-or-treating with my 3 & 5 year olds) but it's still hot! My husband def gave me his seal of approval! *lol* It comes with the gown, headband, and a medallion. They also sell a bunch of accessories to go with it like a cuffs, earrings, shoes, and wigs. I'll be doing a youtube video on my channel, NViousBeauty, on how I'm going to be styling this costume (as well as some others!) very soon, so be on the lookout!
My favorite things about this costume:
It's sexy without showing everything---you know what I mean! The top is cut with so much support, you can go sans bra if you like! The empire waist cinches you at the smallest part of your body, giving an hourglass figure! The way the fabric flows under the empire cut, it floats away from the body, which is forgiving if you have a tummy! The beautiful detailing on the bottom hem goes all around the dress, not just in the front. *lol* And the shipping was SUPER fast! I think after I got my confirmation, it came in two or three days!
My not-so-favorite things about this costume:
It's a bit sheer under the bust line! I'll def need to wear some kind of slip.
It's a little bit long for my 5'2" frame, but heels can solve that problem if I can stand them for that long!
At $44.99 it's a bit pricey, but I love it, so I would pay it!!! BUT, if you purchase today through Wednesday (9-14-11), you can use the 25% OFF coupon and it will be just $33.75!
