URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION

I think this is probably the most popular eye primer on the market today. So of course I wanted to try it to see what the fuss was all about. I have to say, I was completely impressed with the results that I got. This has made every single kind of eye shadow I have applied, cheap to high end, stay put ALL day long! Your eye makeup will not budge until you decide. Is this worth the $22? I say "Yes!!"

The texture is really smooth and for me at least, the color is really close to my skin tone. I am not sure what it does for people with lighter/darker skin tones, though my guess is it just melts into their skin undectable. This really evened out my darkened eye lids. I think the packaging is reallly cute though I would prefer a sqeezable tube, like Two Faced Eye shadow insurance, so I know I am getting all the product out. I did see another guru who suggested cutting it open when you think you are almost out and scooping out what's left into pots! What a great idea! When I am at that point, I will try that!

I've used this for a while too and I gotta say that it does work pretty well...

HOWEVER- BIG HOWEVER - I still find creasing and fading. I feel like UDPP HELPS my shadow to behave better but overall, I was hoping for something drastic! So, at least I bought it for a cheaper price.

I also use TFSI and gotta say that it is pretty much the same deal. Just that UDPP seems to cling on to shadows better and is creamier in texture.

I have this product and the one in Sin, they also have new one out, I think its called fawn, don't quote me on it though. I have really greasy lids, I know gross right? I have had more luck with MAC paints, they have a really nice powdery finish which helps me alot, they are also cheaper than UDPP, I have the one in bare canvas.

i received a small sample of primer potion when i purchased my urban decay book of shadows and i have to say it didn't make me say wowie wow! i don't like the tube/jar thing that it comes in. how unhygenic! and, like you said, you can never know when you're done! i think the tube is kitchy as are the various shades that they are coming out with. i need something to put on my eyelids to get them ready for eyeshadow and make sure that eyeshadow isn't creasing 8 hours later! i know lots of gurus swear by this stuff, but i am partial to too faced shadow insurance. it is a smoother consistency and doesn't feel like it's sucking the moisture from my eyelids (like primer potion)... it mutes out any discoloration on my eyelids and i never experience creasing when i use it! if you're deciding between the two... go for tfsi!

Urban Decay's potion primer, is really great primer. This was actually the first primer i've ever bought and it really does the job by not creasing and holding the color throughout the hold day. Thank you ! ^^
