COVERGIRL TRUE SHINE LIPCOLOR

From left to right are BlushBerry Shine 415 and Nude Shine 470.

CoverGirl describes these as "Sheer, shiny shades complement 97% of skin tones, guaranteed! "

There are 24 colors in this line and you can find them at your local drug store or Target/Walmart type store.  I have been using these two a lot over the past several weeks and I love them! They are perfect when you don't want too much color on your lip. They are really moisturizing and feel great on. They are light and non stick and non greasy! They don't have a lot of staying power, so be ready to reapply often throughout the day. They are sheer but still gives you a nice wash of color.

If you go to the CoverGirl webpage at http://www.covergirl.com/, you can even get matched to several colors based on hair/eye/skin color if you need help. I thought that was pretty fun! They only thing I didn't like was they ask for your phone number. I don't know about you, but I have enough telemarketers calling me as it is, so I gave my old phone number!  ***Sorry to whoever has that number now!***

There was a notice on this product though that I was very unhappy to see:
"Last chance! Stock up before this product is discontinued."
This made my heart sink! How could they discontinue such a great lip color line? I will be going out soon to stock up and my favorite colors and pick up a few others. I think these are around $6. I'm actually really surprised they are going to discontinue this, there are so many positive comments on their webpage from customers. Makes me wonder if they are really going to discontinue it or are they trying to boost sales? What do you think?

I have this lipstick in Lavender Shine. Its really close to my natural lip color, but it has a bit of gold shimmer. The gold shimmer is really understated and is gorgeous. The color of the lipstick itself is a dusty mauvey pink. I wouldn't really call it lavender. Its really unfortunate that they are being discontinued. They give great shine (as the name suggests)and are comfortable to wear.
