BENEFIT POWDERFLAGE

"For camouflaging dark circles & fines lines, powderflage is fast, easy, light & breezy! Virtually weightless, this silky, light pink powder magically camouflages & diffuses. The "flager" brush conceals in 2 quick strokes."

To celebrate my new job, I recently picked this up at Ulta. I was told it would work great with Benefit's Erase Paste, which I adore! It comes in a cute little tin, shown above, and inside is the container with the powder, which it super cute as well! There's also a little fan brush to apply it with.

I opened it in the car, no...I couldn't wait until I got home. And applied some under my eyes (which I had already put Erase Paste on that morning) to see what would happen. I was pleased to see it further concealed my dark circles! Wooray! Who could ask for more right? The brush is small, but works great for under eyes. I love that it's pink!

So I happily put it back together and plopped it into my purse. When I got home and looked at it again, I noticed that all the powder had come through the sifter!! Well, not all, but a lot.

So this is great to have at home, but obviously not to travel with. Now I have to be super careful when I open it to not spill out half the product. Erg! But on another awesome note, when I touched my face after applying the Powderflage, I was shocked to feel how silky it was!! I had no idea it did that! Amazing!!!

So all and all, I do with the packaging, as cute as it is, was better suited to traveling but...
Will I buy this again? Yes!! So if you haven't tried this yet and you were on the fence, please go try it and let me know what you think!

BENEFIT ERASE PASTE

"Signs of stress & fatigue are a thing of the past with this innovative formula. This concentrated, creamy, blendable concealer instantly brightens & camouflages all-in-one. The three brightening neutral shades give every gal correction perfection."

Ok, so I finally got my tail to Ulta and returned that awful Revlon PhotoReady Foundation and picked up this baby! I have been wanting to try this, and other consealers, from Benefit for months! I have really fair skin, so I knew the lightest shade would be best for me. I couldn't wait to try it out when I got home! So imagine my surprise when I opened up the box and found this in the color MEDIUM! Ahhhhhhh!! It was late and the store was closed. What to do? I sadly put this away in my makeup room until I could return to Ulta to switch it out. =( Later that night, very late, I was in my makeup room just moisturizing (Whooray for moisturizers!) and I was eyeing that cute little box. It was just calling my name. I thought, "Well, Ulta will take it back anyway, might as well try it. Just to see how it covers and if it gets cakey on me." So I pulled out the little spatula and just dipped the very tip into the paste. I didn't get enough out to dab on the back of my hand so I just put some on my ring finger and patted it on under my eyes. Here's my intial thoughts, I will update you guys later on after I've used it more.

This stuff is amazing! I used such a tinsy amount and it covered my dark circles under BOTH eyes! And the color actually was right for my skin!! I couldn't believe it! I've never worn medium anything on my skin before, except for bronzer maybe! So I was so glad I didn't have to take another trip to Ulta to trade it out. I can only imagine how it would have gone had I bought the light shade. Perhaps it would have lite up under my eyes like a Christmas tree and I woudln't have liked it or thought to try the medium shade.

I've really been liking my Maybelline Mousse Consealer, but I had to use so much more of that to get the same effect. And for the record, I didn't think that I had been using that much of the Maybelline before I tried this Erase Paste. This didn't get cakey or settle into any **cough** fine lines that I may or may not have!! Since it was a night, I can't speak on it's staying power yet. I am full of hope for this little gem in a jar! This has got to be the best $26 I've spent in a looooooong time.

Has anyone else tried this? What did you think? Would you recommend I try Boi-ing or Powderflage? I really want to get Benefit's Confessions of a Consealaholic! I'm actually going on a job interview today (wish me luck!) and it just might be my celebration gift to myself if I get it! Brazil may just have to wait! I'll keep you posted!

BEE LUSCIOUS CORRETOR TONES PALLET

After seeing this produt recommended by another beauty blogger, I was so excited to try this out. I went online to beeroyalproducts.com and ordered the corrector tones pallet and anxiously awaited it's arrival. I ordered it back early November and it took about 2 weeks to arrival--which I suppose is to be expect this time of year, but I was getting so antsy! Fianlly it arrived and I couldn't wait to try it the next day. After I got my face all ready, washed, toned, moisturized I was ready to go!

I applied it the first time with my small consealer brush. Then I used my fingers to warm the product and blend into the skin. It seemed no matter how I tried to apply it, it just wasn't blending into my skin. It was settling into my fine lines **Eeekkss!*** No one wants to see that!! I tried differnt application techniques, eye moisturizer, brushes, finger technique...no improvement. Very disappointed. Oh, by the way, I have normal to dry skin. Possibly this would work better for someone who has oily skin? I am not sure. I do have to compliment their green section though. This did a great job at consealing the redness around my nose. But is it worth $19.95 plus tax and shipping for this one color? Not to me.

If anyone has has had a different experience, please leave a comment.
