L'Oreal Infalliable Gloss Swatches

Hey dolls! I've been playing with these babies and wanted to share swatches with you here on the bloggie. =) I have a ton of posts planned and you don't want to miss out, so please follow this blog if you aren't already!

Today's swatches are of a few L'Oreal Infallible glosses. I tried finding all these glosses on L'Oreal's web page but couldn't find the one with the black cap. Not sure if they are just new or being discontinued already. If you have any info on that, go ahead and leave that in the comments so we will all know.

From left to right: 415 Sunset, 320 Red Fatale, 125 Bloom,
806 Plumped Tawny, and 306 Plumped Red.

Sun Set and Red Fatale are Infallible Le Gloss. Plumped Tawny and Plumped Red are also Le Gloss but are supposed to be plumping lip glosses. Bloom is marked Infallible but says it's a Pro Gloss. Again, not sure the difference. Let's peek at the applicator:

It's very similar to a doe foot applicator but it has a point and is a bit hollowed out in the center. I love the point! It makes it really easy to get the edges of your lips, especially great for the Cupid's bow area. The little hollowed part scoops out more product so you don't have to go into the tube more often--more on this later. It's also pretty flexible.

You'll see that Red Fatale is the most pigmented of the bunch. The other colors are very similar to each other in color and opacity. On to the lip swatches!

As you can see, most of these colors are still pretty sheer on my lips-even with several coats. The only one that is super pigmented is Red Fatale. These glosses aren't sticky but they do feel a bit thick and don't seem to be scented. The plumping glosses did not seem to plump my lips at all. After you apply these, in about 1 minute you start to feel something--not a burning like with some other lip plumping glosses. I don't really know how to describe it. I was really hoping they would plump just enough to close that little gap in my lips when I smile. Oh well... As far as my final thoughts, I haven't worn them all day yet, so I can't speak to the claim that these last 8 hours, but I can tell that these are a nice gloss. I'm guessing they won't last 8 hours if you will be eating/drinking/kissing. They feel just like any other gloss. If I was to go purchase these, I'd get Red Fatale and any one of the others--they aren't different enough to pay $9.99 each.

Have you tired these? What did you think? Which one is your favorite?

Stay NV'ious!

I have been SO excited to share this product with you all!! I'm totally a lip gloss girl! I'll take gloss over lippies any day. I usually rock Cover Girl gloss, my favorite is Freedom of Peach and has been for the last year. I've tried many other brands, including MAC and other drug store ones, but Cover Girl has had them beat, in my opinion.

I was sent these two glosses for review and consideration to add to the NV Beauty Boutique a while ago. Initially I thought the colors were fab and was looking forward to trying them out, but not having high expectations.

I first tried Magaly. It is a nude-ish color, much like the shade of my own lips. Here's what it looks like on me:

I love this one! I have reached for this nearly every day since I got it! I think this would look great on anyone. It looks pretty shimmery in the tube, but as you see, there is no shimmer or frost in this. It's just a beautiful shine!

Here's the second color I got, Min on my lips:

This is a really pretty pink color. It reminds me of Barbie! I haven't worn this too much, but I do like it! I also think this pink would look great on many skin tones!

PROS:
•shine and highly pigmented
•vitamin infused, (nourishing and conditions)
•keeps hydrating lips even after the product has worn off
•mirror on packaging for convenient application
•many shades suitable for all skin tones
•fragrance/taste free
•non-sticky, yet serious staying power
•mild lip plumper that feels cool on your lips and doesn't irritate my lips
•never leaves that white yucky junk on your lips!

CONS:
•price, $24 for is a little pricey BUT you do get a good amount...so, does that really count as a con? *lol*

As you can see, I think the pros far outweigh the cons and I'll be purchasing this when my samples run out!! This is my new HG of lipgloss. Usually drug store glosses are ok for me, but this stuff is really awesome! I like this more than my MAC glosses too; MAC glosses are super sticky in my opinion.
You can find all 5 shades of LuMESH lipglosses in the NV Beauty Boutique!

SEXY MOTHER PUCKER?

Time for another SG review! This is the infamous Sexy Mother Pucker, lip plumping gloss. I've never tried a lip plumping gloss, as I am happy with my lips. But...am still curious if this stuff really works. On to the pictures, as they say a thousands words, right?

My lips before:

My lips about 10 minutes after I applied the gloss:

Do my smackers look bigger to you? I can't really tell the difference. I thought perhaps if I removed the gloss, as gloss can help make lips looks larger (or so I have heard), here's a pic of my lips with gloss wiped off:

Side by side:

What do you think? Have you tried this? To me, after just a minute my lips began this crazy tingle! It almost felt like how your legs feels when it's "falling asleep". It tingled for about twenty minutes or so. I'm not sure how long the effect is supposed to last, as I am not sure it really worked for me. I'd love to hear your thoughts!
