MARY KAY LIMITED EDITION BEAUTY THAT COUNTS LIPPIES

I have been such a bad blogger!!! I'm so sorry! Since starting my youtube channel, I've barely blogged! I have been missing it, so I'm trying to be more diligent in posting! So I hope you guys are still interested in what I've got to say!!

I don't have the full size lipsticks for this line, but my friend an Mary Kay rep Kasie, was nice enough to give me these samples! I ordered two of these last year (these are different colors) and loved them! These are cream lipsticks and they feel great on the lips!

I love the packaging, feels great, just like NARS! It also says "thank you" in many languages on it, so cute! Here's the swatches, in case you were interested in purchasing them for yourself!

I love all of these colors! At first glance at the picture in the catalog, I thought they were all pretty, but wasn't sure if any of them would really flatter me. It turns out, in my opinion, that all three shades are very wearable! I'm not sure which one I will order, or if I will get all three! Let me know which one is your favorite!

If you don't have a Mary Kay rep, mine is Kasie McDaniel and you can find her by going to her site! She's super sweet and would be happy to help you!

MARY KAY CREAM LIPSTICKS

I bought two of these back early this fall for a give-a-way for you guys. I put them away and almost forgot about them until I was packing the NV Beauty Bag for my first anniversary give-a-way! I had this little sample, so I did swatches from it so you can see them! **The ones in the give-a-way are brand new, never opened!**

Before I get to the swatches though, I want to talk about the packaging! I love it! It's the same as NARS. I really like the way the feel! As you can see, it says "thank you" in many languages. How cute is this? The reason for this is earlier this year, when you purchased these limited edition lippies, Mary Kay donates $1 to end domestic violence---very cool!!  These colors and packaging were LE, so you can't get them anymore!!
I bought Inspiration and Compassion!  I went ahead and put on the Confidence to show you, though it's not part of my give-a-way. They were $14 each. You can still purchase MK Creme Lippies for $13. Hmmm...I just looked that up. So unless there's been a recent price increase, they were charging an extra dollar and that was the money they were donating. Hmm...still glad they donated, but why did we have to pay? Oh well...moving on...

These felt really nice and creamy! I just have the samples, which I only put on for the pictures, so I can't really review these for you. If you've tried these, please let us know how you liked them!

FTC Disclosure: I purchased the lipsticks for the give-a-way with my own money. I was not paid to put them in my give-a-way. I have never accepted money in exchange for a review. I am not affiliated with Mary Kay.

MARY KAY SATIN HANDS

I have been meaning to post this for soooo long!! I got this back in June! So today I'm talking about Mary Kay's Satin Hands. I recently met a MK Rep while I was working. Funny thing is that while I was trying to sell her something, she ended up selling me! The MK rep I am talking about is La'Tanja Moragne

La'Tanja came by my house one afternoon and told me about Mary Kay and the company. Since it was my actual birthday, she gave me a $30 gift certificate! Yeah! =) So not really knowing what to pick, I went for a goodie bag she brought along! Yes, I'm talking about the Satin Hands kit. I'd heard of this product before,  but had never bought it.

First, let me say I really love any product that exfoliates the skin,  but often I forget about my hands! Here's a way to pamper my hands everyday!

First, I used the Extra Emollient Night Cream. I let it soak into my skin for a few minutes. It did feel moisturizing, but not sticky--which is a big plus!  Then I put on one pump of the Satin Smoothie Hand scrub. It has fine grains in it that aren't too rough but just enough to get all the dead skin off and leave your hands feeling really nice. I followed up with the Satin Hand Cream.

I really loved the way the Satin Hands smooth scrub smells--very peachy!! I just assumed that the hand cream and night emollient night cream would have that same delightful scent. Unfortunately not. =( The hand cream sort of smells like peach, but at the same time, not at all. I know that doesn't make sense, but I can't figure out what the scent is. The night emollient doesn't really smell like anything--which is better than smelling like the hand cream.

Overall, I really enjoy this line. The price is great, about $30, and it really leaves your hands soft. La'Tanja is also offering my followers a prize basket! Details coming soon...

FTC Disclosure: La'Tanja was a sweetheart and let me select this as a birthday gift! Even though it was a gift, this is my honest opinion.
